Hey guys,

I should have said, I used Mt. Gay Eclipse for this drink. I liked it in an old-fashioned as well. It seems like a good-value, tasty rum for mixing. I bought it because I had a limited amount of money to spend, and the only other rums at the drugstore were frat-boy shit, basically. And I love the MGXO, so I figured, hey, why not try this?

I bought the rum before I decided to make this drink. I saw it in Haigh, realized, oh, I have a Barbados rum, and that made up my mind.

As for exotic drinks, Rick? I have something in mind; it's a matter of assembling the necessary ingredients and figuring out what I can do with the money at hand.

Just finished up a new batch of falernum tonight and also looking for excuses to finish that handle of Mount Gay Eclipse. Hmm, whatever shall I do?

Cheers Michael! Will you be working through exotic cocktails as well?

Which Bajan rum did you use? Did you grab Mount Gay or did you go for something from RL Seale?
