I don’t normally just link out to other articles, but a couple of things in this morning’s Times caught my eye, and I thought they were worth sharing–the first is a tasting panel on bourbons, and the second, a feature on Tiki drinks.

So, Mixology Monday hits 21 this month; instead of carrying us drunks on its own dry back, it can finally step up to the bar its own damn self and order a tipple. Don’t let us down MxMo. If you’re gonna be all about the Jager shots, I just don’t know….

Following David Wondrich’s instructions in Imbibe!, I just made Sangarees. Port, a little sugar, some ice. Shake it up, pour it out and grate nutmeg on top.
