		<description>After seeing this post, I made one. There&#039;s the obvious connection to the Old Fashioned here, so I did mine on the rocks.  I think there&#039;s too little vermouth, curacao, and maraschino to even be tasted against the bitters, so you might as well leave them out.  Of course, then you&#039;re left with a less-sweet straight up OF.  I might try this again with more maraschino to bring it up as a main flavor, and use one dash of Angostura and one of orange, to lessen the overpowering flavor of the Ango and keep the move towards orange that the curacao is supposed to give.

I&#039;ve only had the Police Gazette once, and never made it at home. Hmm, I seem to have all the requisite ingredients... perhaps it&#039;s cocktail time. :D</description>
